Oil Water Separators in Ontario
Indachem distributes Muddy River cylindrical oil water separators in Ontario known as a Vertical Gravity Separator (VGS), which uses gravity as its separating mechanism. Wastewater skimmed from a retention pit, allowing treatment of the most relevant fraction of the liquid, enters the oil water separator in Ontario and then flows up a series of continuous spiral oleophilic plates. Solids fall into a sludge retaining area in the VGS and free fat, oil, grease and hydrocarbon oil rise to the surface of the oil water separator. In Ontario, the low-density materials flow into a retaining tank to be disposed and the clean water discharges from an outlet at the side of the VGS.
