Immersible Pumps

Cornell Pump, represented in Ontario by Indachem, manufacturers non-clog vertical and horizontal centrifugal sewage pumps. A unique Cornell product is the Immersible Pump that features a Totally Enclosed Blower Cooled (TEBC) motor that is designed to run in air during normal operation. During a flood, a float shuts off the blower motor and the Immersible Pump is cooled with the flood water. The unique sealing design allows the pump to run under as much as 30 feet of water for as long as two weeks. With a TEBC Immersible Pump, you are able to maintain the higher efficiency of a dry pit pump while still being protected in the event of a flood.
