Chlorination Control

Indachem represents Siemens Water Technologies Stranco Products, manufacturers of the Strantrol High Resolution Redox (HRR) analyzers and controllers for chlorination control. The Strantrol has been used successfully across Canada for chlorination control in wastewater treatment plants and for industrial applications like process water disinfection, cooling tower control, and zebra mussel control. Utilizing specially designed oxidation reduction potential (ORP) probes and custom designed algorithms, the Strantrol is able to maintain a specified ORP setpoint within the water. Since ORP correlates very highly to microbial kill, chlorination control is achieved by maintaining a constant ORP level within the wastewater that will ensure a consistent level of kill and disinfection.
